Where are we now?

Tonight we are anchored in the upper Pungo River, just above where the IntraCoastal Waterway begins to follow a canal eastward to connect to the Alligator River. On a road map, this is about 7 or 8 miles east of the town of Belhaven.

Well, you are on your way - WHOO HOO!!

I was just thinking - as you pass through New England, and as you get closer to Westerly, RI, maybe I can get some shots of your boat passing the Watch Hill Light - depends on your route I guess. If the weather is right, I can launch right near Watch Hill and get some shots from sea side.

Hmmm - let's see how that goes.

Hey, have fun - enjoy. Stay safe.

Hi Kathie and Doug,

It's Ginny Clark...I have been enjoying reading your blog. I feel like I'm reading a travel novel, which is exactly what it is. What an adventure you are taking. As I looked at the map, I realized that you live near Bogue Sound, which is where my brother Tom and his wife are planning to move. So, when I get down there to visit them, I'll give you a call. Timing could be about right, as they haven't found a house yet! Have a great time....G
